Base Configuration:
Our base, single pole or double pole, is the component which anchors the Multiple Monitor Stand to the desk.
Many competing multiple display stands use a free-standing base which is easily toppled, or a very small, virtually useless finger-tightened clamp. These flimsy and light-weight bases are then expected to support from 15 pounds up to as much as 250 pounds of LCD Flat Panel Displays and cables. Impractical or even dangerous.
Our heavy-duty base is constructed of 1/4" steel plate, 1 1/4" diameter steel pipe, and 1/2" diameter aircraft grade steel bolts to firmly anchor the entire display stand to the desk, making the multiple monitor stand virtually a rigid part of the desk itself. This rugged steel construction base is unique within the industry, and is used with all of our Multiple Monitor Stand designs.
Standard Monitor Arm Based Single Display: Our single monitor display stand is desk mounted using our custom base design. The single articulated arm allows complete control over any size monitor from 17" all the way up to a 30" monitor. The monitor can swing 270+ degrees, as well as providing tilt, extension up to 22" from the stalk, rotation from landscape mode to portrait mode, lift vertically up to 18" off the desk, and much more. This provides maximum effective use of desk space and optimum ergonomic view of the screen.
